The Dallas-based company said Wednesday’a storm actually ranks among the top threee in company history for being the Oncor said attheir peak, the storms had causedc outages to more than 500,000 homes and businesses. The challengre continued throughout the day Thursday with more storma causing additional power outages in various partd ofthe Dallas-Fort Worth area. The outages were occurringg even as Oncor was busy restoring powet that was lostWednesdat night. In its latest the company said Oncor has restored power to morethan 400,0090 homes and businesses.
At the 85,000 homes and businesses remainwithout “What made this storm so bad was the rhythmic successiobn of multiple waves of rain and lightning,” said Senior Vice President Charles Jenkins.
