We are an independent refiner and marketer of petroleun products operating primarily in theSouth Central, Southwester n and Western regions of the Unite d States. Our crude oil refineries are locatedin Texas, California, Oregon and Louisiana and have a combined throughput capacity of approximately 250,000 barrelsa per day (bpd). Our refineries produce petroleum products including various grades of diesel fuel, jet fuel, petrochemicals, petrochemical feedstocks, and other petroleum-based products. Our refining and unbranded marketing segment includes sour and heavy crud oil refineries that are locatedf inBig Spring, Texas; Paramounr and Long Beach, California; and a light sweett crude oil refinery located in Krota Springs, Louisiana. Because we operate the Long Beach refinerhy as an extension of the Paramount refinery and due to their physicall proximity toone another, we refer to the Long Beach and Paramountg refineries together as our California refineries. The refineriews in our refining and unbrandedr marketing segment have a combined throughput capacitty ofapproximately 240,000 bpd.
