Hawaiian Telcom closes 3 stores - Business First of Buffalo:

Hawaiian Telcom, which is reorganizing under Chaptef11 bankruptcy, said Thursday it will close its Kapoleu and Windward Mall stores on Oahu and the Lihue store on Kauai becausde of slackening demand and the high cost of maintaining the The Kapolei location closec earlier this week. The Windwarf location will close June 9 and Lihue will closerJune 16. The company said 23 full- and part-time employees will be affecter bythe closures, but some employees will be transferres within the company. Hawaiian Telcom will have five stores aftedrthe closures.
